StarStock use a 3rd party supplier, Shieldpay, to ensure a buyer’s money is held safely in a 3rd party escrow account until the buyer has received the goods they paid for. StarStock, nor the Principals it represents, cannot access these funds. 24hrs after delivery, subject to receipt of a clean proof of delivery, StarStock notify Shieldpay to release funds to the seller.
Protecting all transactions for the buyer and seller in this way, no matter how small or large, promotes safer and more efficient trading. This escrow is tied into our money back guarantee policy to ensure buyers get what they paid for.
The buyer accepts that a product can only be returned if the goods are not as advertised or damaged in transit. If the products are delivered to the buyer and the products (or any part of the products) are damaged in transit or not as advertised then the buyer will be offered a refund in respect of those products (or relevant part of the products) that are damaged or not as advertised.
In order to claim a refund the buyer should contact StarStock on firstname.lastname@example.org. The buyer must provide StarStock with all relevant documentation to enable us to process the refund claim. The relevant information includes a picture of the damaged products on the delivery van and a signed delivery note from the haulier confirming the damage to the items as well as any other information we may request from the buyer when notifying us of a claim.
